Collins campaign begins television ads
Posted July 23rd, 2008 by staff
The Collins for Senator campaign will begin running television ads on the evening Wednesday July 23. The first two ads are intended to highlight the fact that Senator Collins has a tremendous record of accomplishment during her twelve years in office. The ads point out that a good senator knows how to get things done – and that includes putting partisan politics aside to work in a manner that is in the best interest of the country, something Susan Collins has done throughout her time in the Senate.

Scarborough's 350th Anniversary and the Norway Sidewalk Art Festival
Posted July 12th, 2008 by SusanWhat a great day! Along with a huge group of volunteers, including several firefighters, I marched (ran actually!) in the parade celebrating Scarborough's 350th anniversary. Wearing a straw hat with a Susan Collins bumper sticker, my campaign co-chairman, Mert Henry, rode in a dashing old red convertible. The volunteer Scarborough anniversary committee did a fabulous job of organizing the parade which had countless floats, bands, and scouts.
