Bus Tour: Washington County wrap-up

After spending time in downtown Calais, the Collins for Senator bus made a couple more stops before heading out to lunch. The first was in Pembroke at Morgan's Convenience Store and the second was at the Whiting Village Store. At both stops Senator Collins' supporters braved the wind and were on hand to welcome her to their wonderful towns. After these two exciting stops it was time for lunch at Helen's and the Blue Bird Ranch. Both restaurants serve delectable food that satisfied all.

The second stop of the day was downtown Calais for a hot breakfast at Bernardini's Restaurant. After coffee, cinnamon rolls and a few remarks from Senator Collins, we headed down Main Street. The Senator stopped in the Boston Shoe store, Kendall's Jewelry store and the Urban Moose. While the Senator browsed the stores and spoke with residents of Calais her supporters stood on the sidewalks and waved Collins for Senator signs. Our time in downtown Calais was a great addition to the morning.
