Presque Isle

On Wednesday afternoon, Senator Collins visited Zippel Elementary School in Presque Isle and greeted Principal Sharon Brown, and faculty, staff, and students. Senator Collins has visited more than 160 schools throughout the State of Maine, and one of her favorite things to do during her visits is read to the students. She read Miss Rumphius by Maine author Barbara Cooney to a group of Mrs. Judy Atcheson's and Mrs. Candy Pangburn's 3rd and 4th graders.

Senator Collins continued her visit to Aroostook County on Wednesday, stopping to say hello at Pat's Automotive in Caribou, where she visited with owners Wayne and Mary Lee Belanger, and their son, Scott.

Another busy day in Aroostook County. It is amazing to see the warm welcome that Senator Collins receives when she comes home. It's obvious that the County is proud of its "own" Susan Collins.
