The second stop of the day was downtown Calais for a hot breakfast at Bernardini's Restaurant. After coffee, cinnamon rolls and a few remarks from Senator Collins, we headed down Main Street. The Senator stopped in the Boston Shoe store, Kendall's Jewelry store and the Urban Moose. While the Senator browsed the stores and spoke with residents of Calais her supporters stood on the sidewalks and waved Collins for Senator signs.
