The Maine Republican Convention

The Republican State Convention was a lot of fun as enthusiastic delegates and volunteers gathered at the Augusta Civic Center last weekend. A record number of volunteers signed up to work on the campaign this fall, and hundreds of supporters wore their red Collins for Senator T-shirts and put on the best demonstration I have ever seen!
One of the highlights for me was the support of firefighters from all over Maine, who donned their special yellow T-shirts to demonstrate the endorsement of my reelection by International Association of Firefighters.
To have the support of these first responders means a great deal to me. My thanks to our Republican State Chairman Mark Ellis, my staff, and the thousands of volunteers who made the weekend such a success.
