Senator to travel thousands of miles reaching thousands of voters from Ft. Kent to Kittery and from Calais to Fryeburg
COLLINS FOR SENATOR TO LAUNCH STATEWIDE “ALL OF MAINE” BUS TOUR
BANGOR – Collins for Senator will kick off the All of Maine bus tour starting in Bangor on Tuesday, August 26 at 8:45am. The bus tour will travel more than 350 miles in the first three days, with stops throughout Penobscot, Somerset, Androscoggin, Oxford, York, Cumberland, and Sagadahoc counties. Senator Collins and her supporters will continue the tour through all 16 Maine counties until election day on November 4, covering thousands of miles and hearing from thousands of voters.
“The bus tour is a Maine election year tradition,“ said Collins for Senator campaign manager Steve Abbott. “With the help of our extensive grassroots leadership team of more than 560 town and county chairs, the bus tour will give Senator Collins the opportunity to visit tens of thousands of voters throughout all of Maine.”
The All of Maine bus tour schedule for the first three days follows:
TUESDAY AUGUST 26
Bus departs at 8:45am from CFS Bangor campaign headquarters, traveling from Bangor to Hampden, Hermon, Newport, and Skowhegan, wrapping up the day at New Balance and Gifford’s Ice Cream.
WEDNESDAY AUGUST 27
Bus tour starts with a breakfast at Simones Hot Dog Stand in Lewiston at 8am, and travels from Lewiston to Hiram, Cornish, Limerick, Waterboro, East Waterboro, Alfred, Springvale, and Sanford. The day wraps up with a Happy Hour at Mill 67 in Sanford from 5:30 - 7pm.
THURSDAY AUGUST 28
Bus tour starts at Congdon’s Donut Shop in Wells at 8:15am, and travels from Wells to Kittery, Saco, Scarborough, Portland, and Bath.
